As of August 24th, 2021, there is an exciting new season of Destiny 2, The Season of The lost introducing the first four legendary stasis weapons. The last season introduced the first four pieces of stasis armor. And with the four stasis weapons comes the return of Mara Sov (Uldren Sov's sister). All of the current new content is mainly located in the Dreaming City, home of the Awoken, which makes sense because Mara herself is an Awoken.
Destiny 2 has new content, confirmed by Bungie, available for preorder now. The new content will be about The Witch Queen, Savathun, there isn't much information about what is to be expected except Savathun. However, for the 30th anniversary of Bungie, (Destiny's developers) there is a a fully detailed description about the dlc for the anniversary. This includes the exotic rocket launcher, Gjallarhorn, which has been only in the first Destiny, along with the Gjallarhorn comes a new pirate themed Dundeon, a Thorn-inspired amor set, Bungie-themed ornaments and cosmetics, and there will be more to come!
